Work full-time in a practical warehouse team in Leeuwarden, handling building materials, operating a forklift, preparing orders and helping customers.

This role may suit students who already have a valid forklift certificate and are looking for practical full-time work. It is a 40-hour-per-week position involving heavy lifting and outdoor work; a flexible student schedule is not provided.

As an all-round warehouse operative, you help keep daily operations running smoothly at a distribution centre in Leeuwarden. You load and unload building materials, move materials with a forklift, prepare customer orders for dispatch, help customers load their orders and keep the warehouse safe, tidy and organised.

What is offered

Gross hourly wage of €16.19;
37 days of leave and 12 ATV days;
Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre;
Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent contract;
Full-time work for 40 hours per week;
Evenings and weekends off;

About the company

You will work for one of the largest suppliers of building materials in the Netherlands. From the distribution centre in Leeuwarden, building materials are collected and sent daily to customers and branches throughout the country. You will join a team of more than twenty colleagues in an open and direct working atmosphere. New colleagues receive a good induction and learn mainly by working alongside the team.
