Role description
At Wolfram Chain, you work on the warehouse floor every day and, together with your colleagues, are responsible for a smooth logistics process. You keep an overview, work hands-on, and ensure that tasks are completed correctly and on time. You check and process incoming goods, put pallets away, and pick customer orders using scanners and pick-to-light systems. You guide and coach colleagues and support the supervisor where needed. You get plenty of room to contribute ideas for improvements and use your logistics knowledge to help the team. With your experience, you identify priorities quickly and help create a safe, pleasant, and productive workplace.
Responsibilities
- Check and sort incoming goods using checklists;
- Move and put away pallets using a forklift and reach truck;
- Pick customer shipments using scanners and pick-to-light systems;
- Monitor the progress and quality of the work;
- Guide, motivate, and coach colleagues on the warehouse floor;
- Support the supervisor with daily activities;
- Contribute ideas for improving and optimising logistics processes;
- Work with the team to ensure an efficient, high-quality logistics process.
Requirements
You are a team player with a hands-on mentality. You like to get things done, actively contribute ideas for improvements, and enjoy helping colleagues. You have logistics experience, preferably in a similar role; can work independently and are quality-focused; take responsibility and do not shy away from a challenge; have good communication skills and can motivate colleagues positively; are willing to work day shifts and occasionally in the afternoon or evening or on Saturdays; have mbo-level working and thinking ability, preferably with a completed logistics qualification; and preferably have forklift or reach-truck experience.
Employment conditions
- Salary of up to € 3.000,- gross per month;
