Workday: Saturday.
As a parcel delivery driver, you start your working day at the sorting centre. You check your route, load the van and place the parcels logically so that you can quickly find the right parcel on the road. You then deliver parcels to homes and businesses. You are the face of PostNL and help provide the delivery moment customers rely on.
You work during the day and spend around 7 to 8 hours on the road. You drive few kilometres and frequently get in and out of the van. At the end of your shift, you return to the sorting centre, hand in the van and return the parcels you could not deliver.
Requirements
You can work independently, are reliable, like to help your colleagues and remain calm during busy periods and setbacks. You have a good attitude. You must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- have a valid driving licence that allows you to drive in the Netherlands and at least 3 months of driving experience;
- be proficient in Dutch and/or English;
- be fit and strong enough to lift both light and heavy parcels;
- be able to provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG).
What PostNL offers
- A 7-month contract. If you perform well, you may then receive a permanent contract.
- The structured salary information specifies a minimum of € 15 per hour and a maximum of € 15 per hour.
