Sales Assistant AH to go Leeuwarden

Nederlandse Spoorwegen is looking for all-round sales assistants for AH to go at Leeuwarden station. You help busy travellers quickly and pleasantly and work both as a bakery assistant and a service assistant.

Availability
Your schedule is flexible and arranged with the manager. You must be available for the entire Saturday to work varying shifts between 7:30 and 23:00. On weekdays, you may alternately open or close. The weekday opening hours are 6:30 to 23:00. You must be at least 16 years old. Dutch at level B1 is required.

What you will do

• Help customers quickly with a freshly prepared sandwich and bake croissants when needed.
• Restock shelves and keep the shop tidy, from unloading deliveries to facing products.
• Work with colleagues to help travellers complete their shopping quickly and pleasantly.

What is offered

• If you are 21 or older, you earn € 14,99 gross per hour, excluding any allowances. If you are younger than 21, the youth wage under the VGL collective labour agreement applies.
• The possibility of receiving a permanent contract after 7 months.
• A fixed number of hours per week with flexible shifts; this is not a nine-to-five job.

• A possible contribution towards travel costs of up to €10,50 per day from 10 km. Parking costs are not reimbursed and there are no permanent parking spaces unless otherwise indicated.
• The possibility of combining learning and working through a BBL programme at MBO level 3 or 4.
• An induction programme including a buddy system and onboarding app.

Application and procedure
The location must be reachable within 30 minutes without public transport, because public transport does not always run early in the morning or late in the evening. The application route is not provided. After your application is received, you will hear within 2 weeks whether you continue in the procedure. The next steps are a telephone or video intake interview, a follow-up interview at the branch with the manager, and then employment with Nederlandse Spoorwegen.
